Because he has such an awesome way of playing the guitar: Antoine Dufour. I already uploaded a video from him and a friend earlier, but he's just that good.
What makes his songs even better in my opinion is that he puts so much emotion in them. And that he writes them himself ofcourse.

This has got to be one of my favourite music vids of the moment (even with all the background noice): Martin Spitznagel with a stride medley.
I love how easily he adapts the songs to his style.

Another music video. From Pirates of the Caribbean this time, I think it's quite impressive (even if there are some mistakes).
It makes me think of a friend of mine who has an organ. I better tell him to start practicing ^^.

Because it's a nice song and I wanted to test linking a video directly ;):
Music's always been important in my life, I feel much better when there's a beautiful, catchy or colorful tune playing. Which is why I love youtube, getting to know new songs is so easy and clicking on the next link can be quite (read: very) addicting.

A few months ago I started playing the piano again. To motivate myself I got some sheets for game music and succeeded in playing a few parts from the Zelda-series. This is what I'll be trying next, but I foresee trouble with the left hand part. It's beautiful though, so I'll just have to keep trying ^_^.

It's been a while since I last posted so here I am, showing I'm still alive and all ;). It's my second week of intership and I already think it's better than the one I had last year. Still, I've got a lot of doubts about my own capacities. It's all interesting though ^_^. I saw patients in cognitive behavioral therapy, phoned some of them and next week I'll have to help patiens fill in their test forms.
It was a rough first week though, so it was a good thing I was never alone ^_^. My girlfriend and some friends kept me company in the evening. And last weekend I had some sort of party with them. Played some games, one of which a drinking game... it seems we've become fans of those, yup.

Last weekend was wonderful again, I think I'm collecting these lately, not complaining of course ;). I haven't done spectacular things though, just had a very relaxing weekend with my girlfriend and my parents ^_^. It was my mothers' birthday. We gave her a funny card and puzzle. We made the puzzle the next day, it was fun ^_^. She also got a 'Happy Bean', some sort of plant you have to talk too ;). I think my mother had a nice birthdayweekend ^_^.
Yesterday evening a good friend of mine and I were watching a few episodes from Stargate SG1, the 7th season. Now we're planning on having a Stargate-marathon ;). I don't think we'll make it through all 8 seasons in one go, we're not thàt crazy :D... I think. You never know of course ;).
Today I had an introductory class about the period of time we'll have to work in the psychological field. Then we'll really test our skills. I'll be working with people with the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I'm not looking forward to it, but I think it'll be more my cup of tea than last year.

The presentation went okay. I thought I didn't tell it spontaneously enough actually. Apparently I did, 'cause our teacher loved our entire presentation ^_^. We got many compliments on our way of mixing science and entertainment and on keeping the class amused ^_^. I must say I still have a nice feeling about it.
Something weird happened today too. When two of my friends and I were walking to the library, we met two cowboys... Yup, and photographing cowboys at that. Well, actually it were their partners who took the photo's. So now my friends and I have a picture of us with two cowboys ;).
They dressed up like that for an action about traffic. They want less cowboys on the road (who doesn't?) and there's a lesson in defensive driving tomorrow. I don't plan on going, but it was still an original way of announcing the whole thing ^_^.

Presentation tomorrow, am quite nervous... as usual. It's about kids with headaches (somatoforme hoofdpijnstoornis in Dutch, not even trying to translate that at this hour) and I won't be alone on the 'stage'. I'll have to speak with a microphone though, brrrr, but I guess that's a good thing 'cause I always speak way too silent when I'm nervous x_x.
Well, I'm going to try to convince myself that even making a fool out of myself tomorrow wouldn't be a disaster. I know it really wouldn't be, but still, I'd like to be proud of myself for once. Being proud of my performance in a presentation I mean. Anyway, I should try to sleep, but I'll probably end up reading Harry Potter 6 instead (for the second time by the way).
Breathe in and out, relax... Cross your fingers for me!
